Legendary shop in the skateboard world. Dave F. is an icon of the business. He also carries surfboards from local builders. Very knowledgeable staff with highest quality equipment.

Longboard @ Fairman's

this 9'er is currently available at Fairman's. it's a single fin, hull style longboard: no concave in the nose, nice belly from middle thru the tail. the belly helps with rail to rail movement and it cuts thru the chop nicely. very fun board in smaller surf. the board is glassed part clear with tinted blue and red resin bands. the bands go around the whole board. i added a nice touch with the finishing...the clear part of the board is flat finish, and the colored section is glossy/polished. the contrast looks very cool. stop in to check it out....

:::::stephen's lam:::::

...just a few shots of stephen's quad after the lamination. all color work is done with resin. that is always the case. i will post some pics later today of the finished board. i wasn't too sure about this one because i went a little crazy, that's what stephen wanted. it seemed to work because it's getting a lot of attention in LBI........................

....north JRZ....

the next phase of life begins...trill will be relocating to the north jersey area. it would be nice to call sandy hook my "local" break. garage space is the priority right now. if anyone has some connections, please hook me up. i will have a few short months left to enjoy south jrz which has been home break since i started my surfing life. i am excited to explore and learn about the quality areas consisting of north jrz, and nyc, long island....nothing will change except my location. my heart, life, and future will accompany me.....say what u will, most likely you dont understand.....pics up soon,,getting sicker

triple deuce

speaks for itself.....

greenlight custom keels

these keel fins were made by brian at greenlight. the fins are made to fit the probox fin system. bamboo cores glassed with epoxy. i give him the custom template, he makes them, and i pick up in a week or two. custom fins really allow me to dial a shape in for a customer. brian does great work, and is a cool guy. props to the northeast...

almost finished, one more tease

this 5'11" will be available at fairman's in the next couple weeks. it's only hotcoated, not even fin boxes yet. all color work is done with resin, the only way. i liked it a lot so i wanted to share a few pics to generate some interest...board can be made to fit a quad or twin fin.

random bay shots, again...

shots of some logs on there way to the glassing shack soon, two 9'6" s, and a 9'er diamond tail....they will be available thru Fairman's come may 7th. the longboards dont sit very long. serious inquiries only

stephen & dennis quads

these are two quads, one 6'2" and one 6'0". just pic's of the foam,,no glass yet. 2 sweet shapes for the upcoming months of jrz peelers.

little tease for mimi

this is mimi's 5'11" twin fin..she is the most patient thing, much appreciated. knows the stoke, i can tell. the board is almost done, still needs the pinlines and resin stripe. i wanted to prove to her that it is almost done, i promise

..glimpse into the near future..

well here it is....marc's 9'1" longboard. he knows his boards so we designed this together. glassing was mainly his idea. here are the details...basically it's a noserider with a wide, full outline. nice shallow teardrop concave. slight belly thru mid section. flat off the tail. little tail kick with a slight spooning of the tail. glassing gets complicated, here we go....the bottom is 3/4 gray with white on the nose. top is 3/4 gray,,so it's a full wrap of gray,,nose is part clear and red resin swirl. a very morbid bloody type of swirl. the board is finished partially flat and polished. the gray is flat finish, and the nose is polished out. very happy with the results. i like to try and keep up with the times. classic but modern. this board has had my mind racing with ideas. it's only january and i'm pretty excited with the boards coming around this spring.
