..glimpse into the near future..

well here it is....marc's 9'1" longboard. he knows his boards so we designed this together. glassing was mainly his idea. here are the details...basically it's a noserider with a wide, full outline. nice shallow teardrop concave. slight belly thru mid section. flat off the tail. little tail kick with a slight spooning of the tail. glassing gets complicated, here we go....the bottom is 3/4 gray with white on the nose. top is 3/4 gray,,so it's a full wrap of gray,,nose is part clear and red resin swirl. a very morbid bloody type of swirl. the board is finished partially flat and polished. the gray is flat finish, and the nose is polished out. very happy with the results. i like to try and keep up with the times. classic but modern. this board has had my mind racing with ideas. it's only january and i'm pretty excited with the boards coming around this spring.

.....finally tim's board is 100% finished and ready for his wall. bullshit, better be in the dirty jrz atlantic. tim will be riding a new 9' pintail. it's a classic outline, little more narrow than i normally use. slight nose concave, very subtle. there is a distinct belly thru the bottom. this is nice for cutting thru the wave chop, and is easier to move from rail to rail...user friendly....the bottom board is laminated with a very opaque maroon/blood red....3/8" cedar stringer. hand prints are courtesy of tim's son: jake. this was sarah's idea to make it more personal. a very classic board, many more to come......2 weeks bitches.....

these are pics of frame's 6'8" from last season. the board still looks good. it was one of the first multi-color abstract resin laminations i did. all of the colors were layed out at once. it's an egg outline with soft rails, flat-belly on bottom, single fin. fun board in small to medium sized surf. i added a glass leash loop requested by mike. marc and tim's board pics will be posted tomorrow................some sick shizz

..................................i havent posted since last week. this post is just a tease. pic's of marc's longboard will be going up in a day or 2, possibly tim's too....marc's is one of my favorite all around boards yet. sick lamination with a twist on the polish job. i'll explain when the pic's are up. hopefully all of you trendy facebookers will see it. everyone has a lot to say when no one sees what you write.....see ya in a day or 2....peace out..................................................
